FINOCON FVB
Finocon FVB is a unique high temperature stable acid buffer & core alkali neutralizer specially developed for use during Polyester fabric Dyeing Process processes. This product can also be applied during heat setting, Dyeing Process as well as for the rapid removal of alkali after caustic weight reduction treatment employed for silky softening of polyester fabrics. This is a high performance, low foaming auxiliary which eliminates the need for any acid addition to the process bath.

Strong acid system can neutralize core alkali
present in PET fibre after scouring and alkaline
weight reduction process.
Ensures & maintains consistent pH and is highly
robust and retains its efficiency even at elevated temperatures encountered during the
Dyeing Process/print-fixation of disperse dyes on polyester.
Finocon FVB is a Viscose Safe Buffer i.e.
doses not damage or burn viscose component of
the fabric under normal conditions of Dyeing Process.
It enables use of even those disperse dyes which are sensitive to alkali or reduction.
It improves shade consistency and does not affect brightness of the shade.
APPLICATION
1)
During PET & its blend with viscose or cotton Printing Process recommended dosage of Finocon
FVB is 0.5 – 1% or can be adjusted on the pH of the thickener system.
2)
During core alkali neutralization before heat setting of PET and its blends, add Finocon FVB 0.5 – 0.75% (to maintain pH 5 – 6)
3)
During HTHP Dyeing Process of PET, add Finocon FVB, 0.5 – 1 g/l (to maintain pH 5 – 5.5)
