To impart wrinkle-free, finish to 100% cotton and cotton / polyester blends.
FINOX KV
A novel cross-linking agent for shock – cure process.
Based on DMDHEU, FINOX KV has all the inherent merits of that system with comparable crease recovery performance.
PROPERTIES
Physical Character
:
Clear slightly yellowish liquid
Ionic Character
:
Non-ionic
Chemical Character
:
Based on DMDHEU with build in catalyst
and fibre protective system.
APPLICATIONS
General Recipes
1.
On 100% Cellulosics
Wash and wear finish
100 – 140 g / l FINOX KV recommended
Pad to approximately 70% to 90% as per requirement pick – up. Dry at 110 oC – 120 oC and cure at 150 oC for 3 minutes or pad and shock – cure at 180 oC for 45 seconds or 190 oC for 30 seconds without intermediate drying
2.
On Polyester / Cellulosic Blends
(a) Shirting
30 – 40 g / l FINOX KV
(b) Suiting
40 – 60 g / l FINOX KV
Pad to 70% to 80% pick – up, shock-cure at 190 oC for 30 seconds or 180 oC for 45 seconds.
3.
On 100% Synthetic Fabrics
Resilient Stiff Finish
100 – 150 g / l FINOX KV
Pad to about 80% pick-up, shock cure at 180 oC for 45 seconds
3.2 Filling Finish (antisnaq) on knitted Fabrics
30 – 80 g / l FINOX KV
Pad to about 100% pickup, shock-cure at 160 oC for 40 seconds. This finish reduces the tendency for threads be plucked out form the fabric. The fabric is rendered easy to handle in cutting and other stages of garment making.
