FINOSTAB PK

FINOSTAB PK is a peroxide neutraliser designed to remove residual peroxide from the bleaching process before Dyeing Process, because of the high sensitivity of many Reactive dyes to the carry forwarded peroxide from the bleaching. Time, water and steam savings are achieved by elimination of intermediate rinses, giving a greater efficiency of process and ensuring shade consistency.

FINOSTAB PK

Provides greater efficiency of process by reducing the time and water required for intermediate rinsing between bleaching and Dyeing Process.

Gives a balanced reaction with residual peroxide producing a soluble acid which helps in neutralising any residual alkali.

Does not interfere with subsequent Reactive Dyeing Process even if used in excess.

APPLICATION

The amount of FINOSTAB PK needed depends on the amount of hydrogen peroxide left after leaching and dosage can vary from 0.5 – 4.0 g / l.

The amount of FINOSTAB PK needed depends on the amount of hydrogen peroxide left after bleaching and dosage can vary from 0.5 – 4.0 g / l.

At the end of the hydrogen peroxide bleach cycle, add FINOSTAB PK at 75 – 85 oC and treat in the cooling bath for 10 – 15 minutes. Ensure that residual peroxide has been completely neutralised by testing with peroxide test indicators or by spotting the fabric directly with titanyl chloride reagent. When clear of peroxide, drain the bath after cooling to 70 oC to minimise rope creasing and introduce a fresh liquor. Adjust the pH of the bath to 6.5 – 7.0 and start the Dyeing Process process in that bath. Alternatively drain the peroxide bath on completion of the bleaching process. In a fresh bath, add FINOSTAB PK, run the fabrics of 5 – 10 minutes at 60 – 70 oC then adjust the pH to 6.5 – 7.0 and add the predissolved Reactive Dyes to commence the Dyeing Process process. The technique ensures minimal carryover of surfactants, peroxide and alkali from the bleaching process, and also reduces the amount of FINOSTAB PK required.

FINOZYME EPK

An economical enzyme based peroxide killer.

ATTRIBUTES :

Highly effective at low dosages and is eco-friendly

To be used in dye-bath before addition of dyes

Does not interfere in Dyeing Processs, there is no adverse effect on Dyeing Process if used in excess

Helps in reducing process time by less intermediate washes between bleaching and Dyeing Processs and thereby reduces effluent load

Deactivation of peroxide starts at room temperature itself

Unlike other enzymes it has wide range of operating temperature and pH

CHARACTERISTICS :

Appearance
:
Light Brown Liquid

Ionic Nature
:
Anionic

Constitution
:

Proprietary blends of enzymes and surfactants

APPLICATION :

0.3 to 0.7 g/l of Finozyme EPK is sufficient to neutralise residual peroxide

Run for 10 to 15 min at room temperature and check for residual peroxide, then dose the

dissolved dyestuff and continue routine Dyeing Process cycle

Although Finozyme EPK is best effective at pH 5.5, it is suitable over wide range of pH
